Friends of Selwyn School

Welcome to The Friends of Selwyn School (FOSS)

Every parent, carer and member of staff at the school is automatically a member of the association (which is informally known as FOSS or the PTA) and your friends and family are welcome to join too. We hope that during your child’s time with the school you will enjoy being part of our community, attend our events and hopefully support FOSS and our fundraising efforts

The Friends of Selwyn School (FOSS) is a registered charity and exists to enhance the education of the children. We raise money to help fund activities, facilities and equipment and run fun events to help develop relationships between school and home.

Contributing to the school through FOSS 

If you are unable to attend FOSS events but would like to contribute towards our fundraising efforts, we are pleased to announce that as a registered charity, we are able to accept one off or regular donations.

These can be made via online banking, with the payment going straight into the Friends of Selwyn School’s bank account, or as a cash or cheque donation which can be given in at the school office in an envelope marked for “The Treasurer of FOSS”.

Boost your donation! If you are a UK taxpayer, you can boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate as we can reclaim Gift Aid from the Government - we just ask that you complete a very simple form which we can email to you or you can collect from the school office. Donations can of course, be made anonymously if you prefer.
